I've heard the rumor that the source was lost; but never had any
confirmation of that.  I agree that at this point it's rather unlikely that
any programmer will spend the time to recreate the project.

I doubt we will hear anything either, since last I knew Charles wasn't even
responding to messages left on his own BBS.
