Back in time, I had a couple of users log on, act normal enough to get
access and then start spamming.  "Pengo" logged on here as a regular user
and, had they not used the "Pengo" alias, I might not have caught on until
after they started spamming.

Luckily, new users only have access to a few bases and, since they used the
"Pengo" alias, they are in the twitlist so no posts they might have been
able to make could go out through sbbsecho.
