Hi Andy

Replying to a message of Andy Roberts to paul marwick:

 AR>>> What bugs in particular?

pm>> :-) I've not found anything other than a couple of cosmetic
pm>> problems - mainly in the Windows version

AR> That's your problem. You should use the OS/2 version.

:-) When more than 80 percent of my clients run Windows of one sort or
another, I don't have a whole lot of choice in the matter... Its very useful
having something that I use on a day-to-day basis on my own machines which I
can also use on client's machines. Maes for much greater efficiency.

pm>> (which I end up using, given the amount of time I have to spend
 pm>> working on Windows boxes..).

AR> If that is Win-OS/2 you could still use the OS/2 version and just
AR> switch to the other task.

See above. Fthe FCW version is a 32-bit console-mode Windows program, so it
doesn't work under WinOS2 anyway..

AR> I never have any need for Windows except for PaintBrush. If you are
AR> spending much time in Windows, then you need more native OS/2 apps.

See above (again:)). I keep meaning to write a letter to Miscrosoft thanking
them for the lousy quality of their software - if I had to depend on my OS/2
cleints to make a living, I would have gone broke years ago...

AR> Interesting. I just left View to wrap and use Edit when I don't want
 AR> it to wrap.

:) Thats a bit dangerous - I've had too mny experenices with things that gt
accidently edited... Most fo the time, I don't need word wrap in the file
viewer. If nothing else, its mouse scrolling works so well it doesn't matter
if the lines are a little longer than the display width.

That is another point for FC/2 - its mouse contorl is very good indeed, and
much more consistent than OS/2 Commander.

regards, paul
