subject: Jesus Only Begotten Son

Hello John,

JO>17 posts in this one packet
JO>I'll not take the time to attack it
JO>You opinions are presented as facts
JO>Assumptions are not what it lacks
JO>The word is critical: The word 'begotten'
JO>By Gnostics a quarrel not forgotten
JO>Without that word the answer is easy:So
JO>Easy, of course to simply say, no.
JO>Solomon (And others) Called 'a son of God'
JO>Forgive me if I opine that it is odd
JO>That you write (and often are reaching)
JO>With distractions apart from Jesus' teaching
JO>I don't mean to be insulting when I declare
JO>For Authority I go elsewhere...

What book did Jesus use when he was making the rounds preaching
His word? What was His Authority?

>>they finally realize how small and insignificant they really
>>are; and how far astray they have gone. Man is truly an odd
>>beast to think that he can defy his Creator;

JO>Or to think that they can understand Her :-)

You understand women? I certainly don't...

JO>What was God THINKING when he forbade the fruit?

Sex.

JO>What were Adam and Eve thinking when they partook?

Food.

Of course, I could be wrong.
Maybe God was thinking about food,
with Adam and Eve thinking about sex.
Which can be quite good under the old
apple tree.

But that would be illogical. You see,
God's first commandment was for Adam and
Eve to make babies. Lots of babies. And
Adam and Eve certainly knew how to make
babies...

>>They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is
>>none that doeth good."
>>(Psalms 14:1b, KJV)

JO>There are a lot of altruistic atheists... :-)

Yeah. Right. Just as there are a lot of platonic relationships. :)

>>"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days
>>scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where
>>is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell
>>asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning
>>of the creation."
>>(2 Peter 3:3-4, KJV)

JO>These have been present in ALL days where this is so...

What goes around comes around...

JO>All day are 'last days'...

And then there will be a new heaven and a new earth.

>>You may recall that earlier in this article...

>>, I mentioned
>>that Melchizedek actually means "King of Righteousness". As
>>I have pointed out in some of my Endtime articles, the Book
>>of Revelation tells us a number of times that we too, as
>>members of the Order of Melchizedek, will be given priestly
>>Robes of Righteousness; which we are informed is symbolic of
>>our sins being washed away by the shed Blood of Jesus
>>Christ, our Sacrificial Lamb:

JO>Interpreting the message in Revelation is great fun for hobbyists...
JO>I agree with Martin Luther: It's "a right strawey Epistle" :-)

It is very easy interpreting the message in Revelation.
However, interpreting it correctly is another matter...

JO>I skipped your other posts: Not accepting your premises, I'm not
JO>about to accept your conclusions. Let me tell you about MY Church:
JO>coming up in a 45,342 series of posts...stay tuned!

Wow! Just think of all the traffic it would create for this echo!
