Go back to Skaro, take a second crack at preventing the development of
the Daleks, perhaps discover why the Thalls and Kaleds went to war in
the first place and give them cause to unite. Stop Davros from being
born. I would have thought the Sontarans would have been the prime
adversary as they had used one humanoid civilization to invade and
actually land on Gallifrey. The fans don't have creative control except
in fan fic.
I think the above had already been discussed in the past in both groups
so sorry for abusing the expired equine.
It could have been like the 'Nimoy Flip' in that the original draft
for STIII:TSFS it was the Romulans/Rihannsu but Nimoy had it changed to
Klingons. I always found the Romulans to be more interesting,at least
in print. Whereas from that point on and in the Berman years the
Klingons just became bad copies of Japanese Samurai/Ronin minus the
grace.
