Thanks for letting me know that it arrived.  I am glad that you liked the 
block.  I originally bought the two black fabrics with kids quilts in mind, 
but haven't hit upon an idea which uses them in it yet.

I am working on my tree skirt currently.  I have figured out another way to 
put the binding on which doesn't require hand sewing.  I have decided to use 

star type stitch on my 1630 to sew the binding on with.  It looks the same 
both front and back, and seems to be quite secure.  I am nearly 1/2 through 
with putting the binding on.  It is going to take about 16 yards of binding 
o
do this, and it is a little slow going.  I just hope I don't run out of 
hread
in this color before it is done.  I am using a rayon burgundy color thread

a christmas green binding.  Both pick up colors from the tree skirt itself.
Gotta have it done by Saturday for a birthday present.
