What errors did you get? Are you using a Borland compiler?
I have more generic code available also.
I have never gone into the 16M color modes as a programmer.
Personally, I don't see a need for that type of color
resolution in a game unless the game is only a vehicle for
the graphics.
At any rate, if you would detail the specific errors and
the lines to which they refer, I may be able to help.
It really sounds like you are looking for a full-featured
commercial graphics library, though, with .GIF, .IPG, .PCX,
and .BMP display capabilities, using highly optimized and
macnine and compiler specific code.
