SLICS contains chessbd.exe, which is a truly excellent PGN parser. It can
even handle nested variations in true PGN format. It also reads "dirty"
input which isn't up to full spec.
The IECC web page contains the full specs on PGN, and they are also
available for ftp from chess.onenet.net.
