Hi All,

I would just like to say thanks to everyone who replied to my question on
the differences in the TR-7 and the 7A and all told me the same which
confirmed my suspicions about a 7A for sale on ebay in the UK and as a
result I did not bid on it and will keep looking.

I am looking for a 7073 mic if anyone has a spare one.

Can anyone please help me with a question about the TR-7 and TR-7A 

Did Drake make all the 7A's with the split rear panel or were any produced
with the single plate rear panel as on the early TR-7's?  And what was the
first serial number approx of the 7A
