If you want fuller rationalles, definitely see the archives. I've already
posted
many too many words on the topic. I gave you the capsule/highlight form.
If you consider it inadequate -- GREAT; there's plenty of room for honest
disagreement, and transfinite amounts of evidence that there is in fact
plenty of disagreement about where the edges of filk are, how sharp they
are, and which way any given instance falls.
