Hello Wilfred,
On Monday November 30 2020 13:19, you wrote to me:

MvdV>> I decode it as "weid".
The "it" relates to the "what else". It is coded as ".-- . .. -.."
Because I do not use an automatic translator and have experience reading
imperfect straight key hand send morse with QRM, I can anticipate and correct
on operator errors.
MvdV>> Because of the "--. .. --. --. .-...
MvdV>> ...", my guess is that ".-- .. -. ." was meant.
On second thoughts: he may have meant ".-- . . -.." { Morse palindrome ;-) }
WV> How do you get from "--. .. --. --. .-... ..." to "weid"?
I do not...
WV> It translates to "giggs" according to an online morse decoder, where
WV> the fith character '.-...' translates to nothing...
The ".-..." is a result of bad quoting. In the original it is ".-.. .". The
word translates as "giggles".
BTW, the other error in the original in the the coding of "The Netherlands", It
is coded as "The Netheflands".
Cheers, Michiel
