Well, they ALL do that...except for the first regeneration, *I think*,
where the TARDIS actually
changed the clothes of the Doctor to match his new physique. But yeah,
I also felt that the new Doctor
was just too similar to the old...until I went back and studied his
performance a little closer. Interestingly,
I think we can see bits fo the first couple of incarnations in his
mannerisms. There are some scenes, esp when he's talking to the
sleeping Amy by her bedside, where I can practically SEE the old First
Doctor clearly underneath this new, young skin...
