The problem with most floresent tubes is a lcak of the red spectrum.  they 
tend to the blue side as incadesient tends to the red side.  Full spetrum 
tubes are more expensive because they have phosphors for the entire spectrum. 
If you can't get sunlight into your tanks at least part of the day they are a 
good idea.
