Replying to a message from Steven Horn 1:17/67 to All, About Travels north, On Wed May 21 2008 SH> of the Alaska Highway, and had a great visit with Gord Hannah SH> (thanks for the pizza and ice cream pie, Gord) and started off North No problem it was good to finally meet Canada's furthest north sysop, with whom I had been "conversing" with for quite a number of years, a highlight of the year for sure. SH> the next morning. All was uneventful except for a speeding ticke3t SH> north of Fort Nelson but I made the Liard Hotsprings Lodge that Whoops, how far north of Fort Nelson? SH> night, soaked in the hot springs, and got to Whitehorse by 4:00 PM SH> on the 14th. Lucky you, the hot, medium, or cooler part of the hot springs? SH> Not bad for four days of travelling, helped by the fact that the SH> roads were good. In our area good roads are a plus. Hope this helps. Keep us posted. We are a fine board trying to make it better. http://www.pris.bc.ca/ghannah ghannah{at}pris.bc.ca Cheers!
