Nice one about using the myth of the Siren at sea.

Many twists and turns and even the odd surprise.

At the start you think you are dealing with a homocidal siren 
that kills.  

What about Amy the Pirate?  She has a swagger.

Black spots turning up on injured people.

How is this green creature getting around in water. OR is it?  what about 
reflections?  Loot goes over board.

No real proper explanation on how the TARDIS slipped into the ship.  Also
Pirate captain has a laugh about a captain without a ship.

Anyone notice a pirate missing?  Mulligan was taken but 
what about the blaggard Toby cut?

Typhoid Fever.  Surprise to see a young stow away?

Who is that woman with the diamond eye patch?

Rory goes over then the Doctor is getting the full picture even if he feels
he is being watched.

Prick yourself into the ship caught in a time rift.


Emotional scenes : Amy doing CPR on a drowning Rory and  most
of the 17th Century people in a futuristic sick bay.

The Pirates leave Earth all healed.

The mystery continues.  Who will shoot the Doctor and
why are their contradictory pregnancy results?
