subject: Booklet Procedure?

Yo!
Somewhere in my travels far and wide, I've seen a macro or a process that
enables booklets to be made from WORD. Sounds simple? Maybe.
But when you print a page intended to be folded in half and stapled in the
middle with other pages to form a booklet, it can be seen that the page
numbering gets screwed up.
Obviously one prints in the "landscape" format with two "pages" per side per
sheet. It's the automatic page numbering that's a real bear.......
Any clues on an automated process or a macro that makes this process "easy"?
I use WORD 7.0 for Win95.

Hi Barry,
I don't know if Bob has responded yet, I have been very busy with work
and here is what i have done in this situation.
Create a new template based on NORMAL. hit a few returns in the
themplate. insert a next page section break. Double click the
section break and format that section for the measurments you would
like, also format the first section for the measurements you would
like. Be sure to select FORAMT for THIS SECTION ONLY.
Delete the section break, and save your template. When you base a new
document on that template, you will need to insert a section break at
the point you want the page break, kind of long, but it will work. No
other formatting then what you do at the time of creating the template
Good Luck, if it does nto work Barrry, please let me know.
