Does anyone have any suggestions for a alternative to Ritalin????
While this drug has had remarkable success with my 9 year old daughter, its
not something I want her to stay on permanently. There is so much conflicting
infomation on this subject all the Doctors that I have spoken to REFUSE to
hear anything bad about Ritalin and say that it is all hype, but when you
mention some of the (RARE) side effects such as Leukopenia they do not denie
it but insist that the benefits outway the risks.Don't get me wrong I'm not
against medicine as I myself have Glaucoma and rely on medication for this,I
was just wondering if anyone out there has a problem similar to mine that has
found another way of dealing with it without the use of "drugs".
Eagerly awaiting for your reply......
