Yeah, they don't have much reputation or used value (which are probably
related).
Actually, a friend of mine wonders what I was doing carrying a "cocked
and locked" single-action in my pocket, but I wasn't afraid of that
aspect. Just as you don't touch the trigger until it's in the right area
(pointing where you want it), you don't touch the safety until it's
clear of the pocket or holster.
OTOH, I've now traded one of my other guns for a PPK/S, so perhaps that
won't be a consideration. I've yet to make up my mind whether to carry
the Colt or PPK, both are about the same size (using a non-finger rest
magazine in the Walther).
(I see Guy Putnam suggested a Colt Mustang Pocketlite. I wanted a grip
that ran the length of my hand. The Mustang Plus II would fit the bill,
but the Pocketlite is short even for me. The Government Model .380 has a
longer barrel than the Mustang - either type - and the price is
effectively the same. And as I said long ago, I regularly carry so much
in my pockets that the extra weight doesn't bother me. If it weren't for
the physical dimensions, I could carry a Firestar - which was nicknamed a
"pocket anvil" due to the weight!)
