If you sent me a message in the last couple of days and I didn't answer, 
I may have lost it. (In particular, I recall seeing one by TO which seems 
to have disappeared.)
I pressed the wrong key, and deleted my last download. So I went back to 
the BBS, but apparently didn't get them all.
I read my messages online before I download them, so I think one comment 
had to do with the financial part of the Texas Concealed Handgun License. 
If you have failed to pay taxes, defaulted on a student loan, or failed 
to pay child support then you are not eligible for a CHL. They don't 
check your credit rating or income, but they do check that you have kept 
up on any either court-mandated payments or payments owed to the 
government. Which as long as it is the government issuing licenses is 
within reason (they also revoke a driver's or professional license for 
child support). Of course, we shouldn't need licenses, but that's another 
story.
