While we appreciate your appreciativeness, thank-you notes (without any 
further meaningful conversation - i.e., questions or answers, or sometimes 
even "gotchas" that you overcame in your understanding that would help others 
who had a similar question) are expressly off-topic.  Part of the reason for 
this is merely that this is a very "helpful" echo - we try to help everyone 
(sometimes even ourselves).  If everyone who was helped posted a two-line 
"thank you" message, the echo could be overcome in these messages.
