Indeed.  The level that AI has supposedly advanced to (or maybe it is better to
say "has *been* advanced to by persons who are moving too fast") is somewhat
alarming.

I remember a few years back watching some British show about how a group of
androids become sentient.  I thought we were a long ways off from that ever
happening... like, not in my lifetime... but now I wonder.
