RW> YEp, said the same thing re: our situation, but we were expecting to be RW> home long before that to take care of things. I know better next time RW>. And I didn't expect to come back from Texas the day following Katrina's passage. When I saw the damage to the entire town, I knew there wouldn't be much for me to return to. I didn't even have to worry about the power being restored because there was no way to get it to what was left of the dwelling. RW> Yah, but i learned a bunch last time. FOrewarned is forearmed! I even stuffed the Cableco's equipment into my car's trunk. When I came here and phoned them to ask where to turn it in, they gave me some bad info. I called them back to tell them there was no office of theirs at the address given. They were sorry for the mistake and directed me to another near-by city. I brought the equipment to that office; they noted all was in good order and gave me a receipt. And now the fun began -- it took six months to get a refund from them and each month I called, I was told some kind of mixup took place either with my name, my address,* Origin: NCS BBS (1:3828/7) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 11/201 14/300 34/999 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 222/2 SEEN-BY: 226/0 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 3828/7 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
