This is the only advice that he offered that I don't agree with. The stern
of the boat is often awash with diesel or gasoline fumes.....not a good thing
to mix with motion. I think it is more important to find a spot in the
breeze than it is to find one with less motion. That means stay out of the
cabin if at all possible. Also, if you decide you just have to blow your
beans, don't do it in the head. Be a man and toss your pizza over the side.
If there are divers down, try not to hang your head over the ladder.
I also suggest taking an antiemetic drug the night before the dive, as well
as when you first go aboard in the morning. Build up a level in your blood
stream. Many of the common over the counter drugs may make you sleepy.....
which is not such a terrible thing if you have a long ride to the dive site.
Don't worry, you'll wake up when it's time to dive.
