A response to my opine on greed in vets...

Well not so much greed as just unnecessary and expensive, he is only a
dog so the cost is much less than for a human, but you do have to
wonder about the efforts made to save animals these days.

I don't think they do it for the money, they do it because they can.

The only part I disagree on up there is 'ONLY' a dog.

It's not that it's ONLY a dog, it's because he's a living being and
ought to be afforded the dignity to go when its his time. Modern
medicine doesn't do us any favors prolonging what it thinks of as life,
but is actually prolonged suffering.
