subject: purse sorting

Hi Jeannelou,
JT> The way to solve the 'wrong purse' problem is to tie a colorful
JT> bow to the handles of your craft purses.
That's one way to do it; I generally have small projects for take along
that can fit into my purse.
JT> No word from Rachel yet.
They went to Georgia for a few days, back now. Deborah had a good talk
with her yesterday. Schedules should be getting back to normal on
Monday; it's usually a bit more "whatever" during the holiday time.
JT> but a queen size mattress [usually used on the sundeck-a few steps
JT> away] has been shoved in there and i rarely drag it out to get to the
JT> fabrics. Good luck on you sorting.
We have Rachel's old bedroom as a combination computer/sewing/library
room. I got my scraps sorted yesterday; one big Rubbermaid type box of
cottons (not full), then 3 smaller ones of wool/denim types, fancy and
knit/fleece/velour/misc. The wicker hamper has misc things like odds
and ends of lining, jeans I'm saving for a project and other stuff. Now
I don't have to go thru everything to find the fabric I need. I also
got some plastic shoeboxes for my bias tapes, stretch laces, carded
buttons, etc--really getting organised. It will pay off big time when
we have to move; the stuff can be packed into bigger boxes "as is" or
just taped up. Now it's back to sewing to use up some of the odds and
ends.
Catch you later,
Ruth
