Hello Michael,
You are using FoxPro Windows, are we to assume ?
MD> available only to immediate child procedures, but not grandchildren?
Not in FoxPro or any language that I can recall(Delphi ONLY does 1).
MD> Is there a away around... something like VBa (Excel 5.0) "ParamArray"
None that I know of, in FoxPro.
MD> Debug shows no value just after control passes to the procedure
If you set a breakpoint on one of the 18 variables, then it should
tell you just when it is being changed. You can probably deduce how to
correct for it from there. Else, if You still need more help, then You
will need to give us a much more detailed description of what You are
doing. I tried to get a "mental picture" and right away got lost in
about a zillion possibilities. How do you Call, how are the vars Declared
,how is it Passed, what is done in the Called procedure, and etc?
Do You pass the variable by reference, which should not be done in
most languages (passing a pointer)? If so, then Wim likely has already
found your problem and provided the quickest, (your_vars), solution.
Luck of the Irish to Ya,
                                                 den
P. S. ( Really nice to hear a New voice !! )
