My husband's uncle was the attorney for his adoption in 1961, but is bound by 
NJ laws not to tell him anything. (It was a private adoption). He did 
however, recently give us a hint that the "Catholic Charities" had done a 
home study and might have information. Does anyone know how to go about doing 
this? Is "Catholic Charities" a name of an organization or just a general 
name for various groups of charitable organizations within the Catholic 
church?  Any info on how to utilize this tip would be greatly appreciated.
