The database for Vet's is not online, yet or if it is I haven't found 
it. Down here the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) offer it at a couple of
the local chapters, as well as from a booth they have at the VA 
Hospital. It is to help locate military "buddies". It is supposed to 
contain everyone who was in the United States Armed forces
since W.W.I or at least anyone that was discharged honorably. If the 
person they look up for you is in the VFW they can usually find your 
buddies last know address or the address he gave on his discharge 
papers. I believe the same list is available from the United States 
government (without the VFW input) but no one can tell me how to locate 
that either. I do suppose you could walk into a VFW post and ask them to
look Woger up, that is how I did it.
