EL CAJON, CA (04/24/04). "Mother Nature" prevailed last Saturday
night at Cajon Speedway when rain showers resulted in a rare cancellation
at the 3/8 mile paved oval. But the weatherman is calling for one of San
Diego's typical beautiful sunny 70 degree days this Saturday when the
second round of the 2004 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series takes place at the 3/8
mile paved oval

The street stocks, bomber stocks, legend cars will join the NASCAR late
model sportsman, and those crazy train racers during the action filled
evening. Last Saturday night the action at the 3/8 mile paved oval had to
be cancelled due to the afternoon rain. Even though the sky cleared about
3:00, an extremely muddy parking lot and wet grandstands meant it couldn't
be racing as usual Saturday night.
