Dear Teresa,
Since my folks had a high regard for learning, in its many forms,
the nose out of the book bit, only came when i was suppose to [ have you
ever heard why we have that phrase, it makes no sense] be doing
something else, like dishes or cleaning my room. My problem was that i
didn't want to take things step by step. I wanted to jump ahead to the
'fun part'.
We all have words we were trained on. One of my mother's favorite
epigrams was, "what ever you do, do with your might, for things done by
halves are never done right."
We got on the internet the day before New Years. In case you or any
of my other friends would like to have it, our e mail address is:
wjl@gccweb.net.
Shalom, ll
