subject: Hello

| Uh, Tom, Pacific Bell was in fact owned by AT&T as part of the Bell System.
| After the breakup in what, 1984?, Pac Bell became Pacific Telesis. I've no
| idea what it is today.

If it is like the local "baby bell" system, it has reverted back to being
owned by AT&T.
