Hello Tony,

LL>> Baseball is an international game. Not just played in the USA.
LL>> Cubans love it. Japanese love it. Koreans love it. Venezuelans
LL>> love it. Puerto Ricans love it. Even Canadians love it.

TL> Yes, it is an international sport. Baseball doesn't get much publicity,
yet
TL> there are still at least 2 ball parks in this city of 100,000 people that
I
TL> know of. I'visited both, though not for baseball - one was used as an
open
TL> space for some marching practice, the other is adjacent to parkland used
TL> annually in local cross country races.

Sporting events without fans is not any fun for fans. Whether it is
tennis, or football, or baseball, or any other sport. Same thing for
music. How can one enjoy a music concert without fans? Just not the
same without others there to share the experience.

TL> Still, that pales in comparison to the number of soccer fields (several)
or
TL> AFL/cricket (most are dual purpose) ovals, of which there are more than a
 TL> dozen.

All those big beautiful stadiums. With no fans allowed. Athletes
competing live on television. With nobody around to cheer or boo.
Except coaches and trainers.
