Except the cake I have exists.
(In fact I made one this afternoon.)
All you have is some preacher telling you there is a cake, but you have to
worship his deity, give him money and then die before you can have any of
the cake that you don't even know actually exists.
Thus above what I said, in the Bible, even in the New Testament, those
people with mental illness or sicknesses were "possessed by demons."
These people were not stupid, at least most of them.
But they were ignorant.
They had no idea what brain chemistry was, much less how to control
aberrations.
And they had no clue whatosever about disease germs.
So it was shuffled off to a supernatural mechanism, just like lightning,
volcanos and earthquakes.
