For reference purposes, if someone has posted a "no concealed weapons"
sign here in Texas, and they see you carrying (somehow), all they can do
is ask you to leave - which they could have done without the sign! If you
refuse (or if you leave and then come back while still armed), then they
can call the cops and have you arrested. Or at least, that's how our cops
are treating it. Theoretically, carrying where posted is trespass, which
is considered a "complainable" offense. That means, if the store owner
wants to press charges they can do so, but it is their initiative.
However, our cops will only be concerned if you are non-cooperative and
have been individually warned. (It may be that the attorneys would still
pursue it without the police becoming involved, but I doubt they'll
consider it worth their trouble.)
In practical terms, though, they have to tell you anyway. The sign is
meaningless.
