Other than in California, I find that to be about average mileage. For me
with several cars, mine usually don't go half as far in a year. My 02
Silverado had 28k on it when I bought it in March of 2005. It now has 53k
on it, but that would include two round trips from San Diego to here and
another round trip to visit my mom in Illinois. I used it for a while in
my present work on the road, but soon traded my GMC box van that I used to
move here for a 01 Isuzu Rodeo and I've put over 13k on it since last
June.
