Also, if I press Ctrl+H to change the header of a netmail, then press Enter
to leave the existing To: name as-is, and the name isn't listed in
fidouser.lst, the address changes to 0:0/0. If I save the header (ie.
press Enter three more times, it then changes (in my case) to 3:0/0. If I
instead press Escape at the To: address field, the To: address changes to
my own address (and the TOPT/FMPT/INTL kludges change too). Either way, in
both cases the To: address should stay whatever it was before you pressed
Ctrl+H.
Also, for some reason none of the netmails I write aren't marked Private by
default. I run a single-user system, so I don't particularly care about
this, nor other nodes reading my netmail (I think), but sysops who run
multiuser BBSes might think differently. Particularly if one of their
users ends up reading their AreaFix password or all their credit card
details or something. This might be because I'm using a FidoConfig file.
I couldn't find anything about setting default netmail attributes in the
FidoConfig docs though. Maybe I'll run through the code later, but I'm
mainly documenting this here so I don't forget and/or maybe this (if it
really is a bug) that has already been fixed by someone.
Regards
Andrew
