No, it was AT&T...I saw their trucks and crews in the neighborhood on a
daily basis.

Either Time Warner or Pacbell used that system to provide telephone and
cable service. Whoever it was had to finish it by running fiber optic
cable from their boxes to my house. Starting and then abandoning the
project was stupid. I wonder if they got their money back from the
eventual people who did use it.
