Other sources say start at the head CH> and work your way to the rear... which makes sense when ya figure how CH> the hair grows. :) Seems to me that starting at the rear makes more sense, based on how the hair grows, as you can clear out any matting bit by bit while working your way up the hair shafts. . . Otherwise you'd just be pulling any crap the brush finds in the hair all the way through, dirting it all up in the process. . .
