Hi Kendra,
I 2nd that! Sounds like you have a wonderful grandma. And to think she
began riding at 43! I can kind a, sort a, relate to her, all I ever wanted
were horses, but this dream did not become reality until I was 34. So, now I
am 50 and ride for pleasure. With the good Lord's help, maybe I will be
riding well into my 80's. When this dream all became real, I was so
intimidated by my horse, and even more so when she gave birth to a colt on
what else, "Mother's Day, 1984". To make a long story short, this colt was
really notorious, and seemed to love to walk on his hind legs as a 1 and 2
year old, I was scared to death, but after all those years, and the colt was
gelded, I now have a wonderfull 11 year old stallion who occasionally rears
when he's feeling his oats, but I understand them now and my fears are no
longer. Tell your Grandma, yeha from Dee, and that I plan on riding at least
those many years and then some. Thanks, Dee
