Comcast supplied cable modem, or you purchased a cable modem? I also tried
a LinkSys Cable Modem (2 of them in fact), and neither one worked, Comcast
could not connect to it to set it up. Bailed on LinkSys, and bought a
Toshiba. Worked like a champ, and has been humming right along including
the current speed upgrades. I think we're now up to 4Mb down speeds, and I
read that for business users, they can get up to 7Mb down (don't recall the
up speed though for Business users.
