Hello Paul,

to my knowledge, there were never any TR-7A's produced with the single 
panel; the split panel was used early on in the TR7 production run so any 
single panel radios are probably the earliest TR 7's manufactured.  I can't 
help you with the 7A serial numbers, but I'm sure some one on the list will 
know.
