Does Chief Parks know that the full term for the latter- the term that
was used by white supremacists in the late 19th century- was "Niggertown
Saturday Night Specials?" You see, the Triple K wanted to disarm
Negroes, so they talked about the violence that was allegedly committed
in Black communities (presumably on Saturday nights) with inexpensive
handguns. And they pushed for bans on those affordable handguns that
working-class Black people bought to protect themselves. This is
something about which Chief Parks should be reminded- in public, loudly,
and often.

Shove his face in it and rub his nose in it. "Mr. Parks, where shall we
send your honorary sheet and hood? And would you like some kerosene to
go with your cross, or do you think you can get it lit by yourself?"

This was, again, the procedure used by white supremacists to disarm
minorities and immigrants during the late 19th century.
