I'm Michael Lavallee.  ;-)  I read about his vacation in a small blurb buried 
in the Apogee Web BBS - I believe it was on the page that announces the 
weekly contest winners.  I have no idea when he'll be back, but the vacation 
does explain why he hasn't been active anywhere.  I think it said he'd be 
gone for a week, but it seems more like two weeks to me.  
While I'm sure the vacation was much deserved, I frankly consider it a little 
irresponsible of Joe to go off without appointing a temporary moderator.  
Still, I'm sure he'll learn his lesson for next time.  Considering he didn't 
leave any advanced warning, I think this vacation was a hurried affair.  
Could be that the Dopefish has returned, and they've all rushed off to the 
temple to worship it.  ;-)
Just try to skip past the garbage until he gets back.  Wading through it 
won't help you out, and it might even suck you down... :-(
