Bill:
I believe you are talking about the SAME product, just Krylon Clear! It's a
clear, VERY FAST-DRYING LACQUER. I've used it for decades to keep the
copper on un-tinned PC boards looking nice 'n clean.
It is NOT, however, the perfect solution! It will help to prevent oxidation
in a more or less 'controlled' environment, but it's not all that good for
use in moist or terribly humid locations. The lacquer IS permeable if
subjected to more harsh environments.
The nice thing about using this stuff, if it suits the environment is that
it can be easily soldered-thru, almost like a semi-permanent protective
flus, so you don't have to remove it before soldering. Do DO have to
re-apply it later though.
KRYLON CLEAR should be available at just about any hardware store.
