Hello Cindy. Thanks for posting in the EDGE_ONLINE echo. I'm glad to see that
you finally figured out how to post messages on the Armageddon BBS. I know
that it has been a real trial for you, not being used to this old BBS'ing
technology.

But concerning the issue of embryonic stem cell research, I have two questions
and comments for you.

First, when you state "further their real goals", what do you think those
goals are? Care to elaborate?

Second, I find it interesting that you mention that the American Government is
supposed to be for the people, and by the people. In thinking how that relates
to embryonic stem cell research, I think that some people will find that there
is no conflict here; the reason being that under current US laws, people are
required to sign a form in which they state that they are knowingly, and
freely, donating left over frozen embryos to scientific research. In other
words, it is being done with their consent. Any comments on this?

Please don't misunderstand my words. You know perfectly well that I am
strongly opposed to embryonic stem cell research, regardless of whether or not
the embryos were acquired by consent or not. So we do see eye-to-eye in that
regard. It is immoral, and ungodly, to destroy a human life, no matter its
age, in order to hopefully find a cure for others.
