On 27 Dec 97 16:24:58, Jeannelou Truitt said the following to Teresa Herman:
JT> When one is using a complex pattern, it is best to do exactly as
JT> instructed. I probably haven't done that a dozen times in my life. I
JT> always have to fool with it somehow. A large part of the admonitions
JT> aimed at me in my life amounted to: Jean, you have to walk before you
JT> can run!!!.
I understand what you are saying. My son is about the same way. He told us
this past weekend that he had gotten married. Don't care for the wife, but
t
is his wife/life, so will make the best of it.
The admonition that I remember the most is "Teresa, get your nose out of a
book". Now I have three shelves of quilting/sewing books. And DH normally
doesn't mind one bit that I am sitting reading.
