I have several different versions of the Bible, including the KJV.
The Bible is a collection of many different books, gathered over
a long period of time.  What we have is a transliteration, not a
translation.  Sometimes folks get in a quibble about what version
of the Bible that should be used for online discussions.  When
Catholics and non-Catholics are in the same forum, I take out my
trusty St. Ignatius bible, which is based on the KJV.  Since it
has the imprimatur, Catholics must accept it.  Since it is based
on the KJV, non-Catholics also accept it.  As a result, either
I get accepted by all, or flamed by all.

What I get a kick out of is reminding folks that Jesus never
walked around preaching in the countryside with a Bible in hand.

Jesus was Jewish.
All the Apostles were Jewish.
Even Jesus' mother was Jewish.
In fact, she had to be.
