subject: Christians And Jews

Hello Steve,

SA>To those who accuse me of being "racist" and running
SA>a "hate site" or similar, I simply say that in 1984
SA>I made a decision to repent and accept Jesus Christ
SA>as my saviour and Lord. I have no intention of
SA>rejecting Jesus as God simply to be seen as not
SA>"antisemitic" by those who reject God's plan of
SA>salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Apology for presenting offensive material not accepted.
Suppose early Christians would have apologized to the
Emperor for being Christians, renouncing their faith in
exchange for their lives being spared. Would the Big
Guy in the Sky have forgiven their transgression?
Early Christians felt it was better to be eaten by
lions, rather than renounce their faith.

SA>Observance of "Seven Noahide Laws" is no substitute
SA>for God's gift of salvation based on the sacrificial
SA>death and resurrection of His only begotten Son,
SA>Jesus Christ.

The Jewish people do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah. Most Jews
rarely read past the Torah (the first five books of the old testament),
and only a handful have read the entire old testament. Fewer still have
read the new testament, as reading the new testament is seen by most
Jews as being taboo. Does that mean that the Jewish people are evil?
Of course not. Judaism is a different religion than Christianity,
even though Christianity is based on Judaism. Jesus was Jewish, all
of the Apostles were Jewish, the people of Palestine were Jewish,
everybody was Jewish. The Roman soldiers occupying Palestine were
not Jewish, and neither were merchants from other lands. But where
did Jesus try to convert anybody to Judaism? Where did any of the
Apostles try to convert anybody to Judaism?

SA>Those who wish to hate - hate on - but know that
SA>rejection of Jesus Christ has very severe consequences,
SA>in this life, and in the next.

The Jewish people reject Jesus as the Messiah.
For Muslims, it is more of a maybe rather than an absolute rejection.
During the end times, many Jews and Muslims will accept Jesus as the
Messiah, as many as God's mercy allows.

But there will come a time when all will be judged.
And not just Jews and Muslims.

Good article. Sheds light on the subject.

[..]

SA>Given the prophesied falling away, or apostasy, I am not at all surprised
SA>that at least 5 American churches had given up belief in Jesus; in 2009
SA>it may be many more.

That would make for an interesting new topic.
I'll post my own thoughts on that subject in a
separate post.
