That's prolly why we as well as other animals avoid eye contact when we are in pain. Showing signs of weakness makes us more vulnerable to prey- and yet makes it more difficult for people who love us/ or our pet- and care to know we or they, need help. Gotta look in their eyes. Oh. Yes. :( It's almost a year (March 31st) our beloved Patches died. I'll never forget his eyes... Cindy ...
