Dear Donna, 
    That idea about spraying on color to blend, sounds good.  The only 
problem is that i would have to go buy another throw.  This one with the 
South West pattern of zigzags has much too strong a color to cover that 
way.   I may go your route if i can't find something i like in a 
reasonable amount of time.   I am very fond of double knits.  We 
made  my shadow applique bed cover from them.  Also all of my drapes both 
here and in Wisc. are double knit, all of my cold weather slack suits 
too.  I am so pleased with their easy care.
